In
this page, you will need to fill out a registration form in order to
book a free cruise ticket (“Transportation from Fukuoka via Tsushima to
Busan”) and “Accommodation in Busan”. Please read through the
information below before making an application.
Transportation from Fukuoka to Busan
BRIT XII-2012 has chartered a jet foil, “Beetle”, operated by JR Kyushu,
for the transportation from Fukuoka via Tsushima to Busan. Free cruise
tickets are available for those conference attendees who also register
for “The Tsushima Filed Trip” with TOPTOUR CORPORATION. Because the
number of seats is limited, we strongly recommend you to apply for the
Tsushima Filed Trip (using the TOPTOUR website) and for your free
cruise (using the BRIT XII-2012 website) as early as possible.
If you do not wish to attend the Tsushima Filed Trip you will need to
purchase a one-way ticket from Fukuoka to Busan (non-stop) by either
jet foil (Daea Express Shipping’s “Dream Flower”, JR Kyushu’s “Beetle”,
JPY 13,000) or by airplane (Korean Air, Asiana Airlines or Air Busan,
approximately JPY 20, 000).
Accommodation in Busan
BRIT XII-2012 has negotiated special rates at TOYOKO INN BUSAN STATION2
in Busan for conference attendees for the nights of Nov. 15 (Thurs.)
and Nov. 16 (Fri.). The price of a single room per night is ₩55,000,
and a twin room per night is ₩77,000. These special rates also include
a free shuttle bus
between Busan Port International terminal and Toyoko Inn Busan
Station2, and between Toyoko Inn Busan Station2 and the conference
venue (Dongseo University). The hotel is 10-minute walk from Busan
station, 5-minute walk from Jungangdong station (on subway No.1 line)
and 30-minute by taxi from Gimhae International Airport. Please make
your booking by filling out the registration form (using the BRIT
XII-2012 website). Payment will be made in cash or by credit card when checking into the hotel in
Busan. The number of rooms with special rates is limited and
therefore booking early is strongly recommended.
