Thanks to the co-operation of the organizer's, ¡ÆHanekoma-no-kai¡Ç, an audience of 114 was in attendance. Within the hall, physical exhibits like the replica of the border stone from Karafuto and the undersea telegraph cable between Nemuro and Kunashiri Island were displayed together with maps and photos from Karafuto and the Chishima Islands. The seminar itself consisted of a keynote speech from Professor Akihiro Iwashita, the screening of the titular DVD, Hiroshi Itani¡Çs presentation on Shumshu Island (one of the Chishima Islands) and finally a showing of the trailer for the new DVD about Tsushima. Despite the seminar lasting two hours, the atmosphere never flagged and afterwards the audience stayed to examine the exhibits.
