The 9th GCOE Museum Exhibition “The Pioneers of Border Studies in Japan” opened on June 1st, 2013. This exhibition will look at the footsteps of the painter, Yasuo Kazuki, who based his work on his own experience of his detainment in Siberia and poet, Nobuhiko Kudo, who continues to question the positionality of the lost land of Karafuto (present day Sakhalin). This exhibition will be held until August 25th, 2013. Everyone is welcome and entrance is free.
