        Greetings from Dr. Christopher Ward, 
            Editor-in-Chief of The Soviet and Post-Soviet Review
          
         As a panel organizer for the 5th East Asian Conference for Slavic Studies and as Editor-in-Chief of The Soviet and Post-Soviet Review (SPSR), I would like to announce that SPSR will welcome the submission of conference papers that will be presented at the conference in August. 
         Published by Brill, The Soviet and Post-Soviet Review is
          a scholarly journal which focuses on the history and politics of the Soviet Union
          and its successor states, including but not limited to the Russian Federation.
          The journal welcomes original, scholarly submissions in the form of articles relating
          to Soviet and post-Soviet history and politics. 
         Current members of the journal’s editorial board include
          Robert Thomas Argenbright (University of Utah), Oleg G. Bukhovets
          (Belorussian State Economic University), John Bushnell (Northwestern University),
          William A. Clark (Louisiana State University), Robert Edelman (University of California, San Diego),
          Juliane Fürst (University of Bristol), Thomas Lahusen (University of Toronto),
          Kimitaka Matsuzato (University of Hokkaido), Elena Osokina (University of South Carolina),
          Donald J. Raleigh (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), and Douglas Weiner (University of Arizona).
         
         Authors are requested to submit material for consideration in English,
          although Russian language submissions will also be considered. Submissions should be sent to
          the Editor-in-Chief at christopherward@clayton.edu and must include an abstract or summary of
          the article in English of not more than 150 words. For more information, please contact me.
          I look forward to the conference and to receiving conference papers for
